A student journalist interviews candidate

Suzanna Stohr, grand-daughter of Shirley Pfile, president of the LOW Democratic Club, interviewed Abigail Spanberger, our candidate for Congress from the 7th District at our recent Tri-County rally.

Her account of the interview appeared in the Oct. 12 issue of The Growl, student newspaper for Massaponax High School.

Suzanna’s story is an example of the gathering interest that young people have in our democratic institutions — an interest that we are only too glad to cultivate.

Abigail shows Brat what a leader looks like

The pundits agree that Abigail Spanberger was far more convincing on the issues that Dave Brat in Oct. 15’s debate at Germanna Community College in Culpeper. We wish we could look forward to more debates, but Brat lacks the courage to risk embarrassing himself a second time. If you missed the debate, watch the video below. May we suggest that every time you hear Brat mention the name of a certain great Democrat, you donate a dollar to Abigail’s campaign?
