Celebrate Juneteenth, Freedom Day, with the Lake of the Woods Democratic Club at a picnic at the LOW Community Center.
This event will begin at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, June 19, at the Community Center Pavilion at Sweetbriar Park.
The cost is $12, which includes a fried chicken dinner with potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, cookies. There will be bottled water or you can BYOB. The food will be served by the Special Events Committee of the Lake of the Woods Democratic Club.
